Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026. This policy explains what information ServerReclaim collects when you submit an asset list or contact the desk, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to send us when you request a quote or contact the desk. This typically includes:

  • Your name, company, email address and phone number, as provided on the contact form or in correspondence.
  • Asset lists, spreadsheets, bills of materials (BOMs) or inventories you submit for valuation — including model numbers, quantities, condition notes and the location of the hardware.
  • Site or logistics details necessary to arrange pickup once an offer is signed.

We do not collect payment card details through this website. Settlement is handled offline, per the terms of the signed offer.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to:

  • Value the lot you're offering and prepare a firm bulk offer.
  • Coordinate logistics — packing, freight and pickup — across the USA and Canada.
  • Settle the transaction and issue documentation, including certificates of data erasure where applicable.
  • Respond to questions and communicate about the transaction.

We do not sell, rent or market the asset lists you send us. They are used to transact with you.

Data retention

Records related to a transaction — offers, asset lists, chain-of-custody and erasure documentation — are retained in accordance with business records, tax and compliance requirements. Transaction records are typically kept for a minimum of seven (7) years from the date of settlement, or longer where required by law. Where no transaction results from an inquiry, the submitted information is retained for a reasonable period to respond and then removed from active systems.

Third parties

We share information only as necessary to complete the transaction:

  • Logistics partners — freight carriers and packing providers involved in pickup and transport, receiving only what they need to move the lot.
  • Payment processors — used to settle funds per the signed offer terms.
  • Downstream resale channel — once title transfers and data has been sanitized, hardware may move into our global B2B resale network. We do not pass your seller identity or transaction terms to downstream buyers.

We do not share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not sell personal data.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including California under the CCPA/CPRA and the EU/EEA under the GDPR), you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to retention obligations.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing was based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with your request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Contact

Questions about this policy or how your information is handled should be sent to [email protected]. We will acknowledge your message within one business day.
